Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative from Adventure Himalaya Nepal will greet you and transfer you to a comfortable hotel in the vibrant district of Thamel. In the evening, you’ll attend a detailed trek briefing followed by a delightful welcome dinner accompanied by a traditional Nepali cultural performance. This is a great way to ease into the journey ahead while getting a taste of local hospitality and cuisine. You’ll spend the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic 6–7 hour drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara in a private vehicle. The journey offers stunning views of rivers, lush valleys, terraced fields, and charming rural villages along the way. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you can relax by the serene Phewa Lake or take a stroll through the lively Lakeside area, known for its cafes, shops, and beautiful mountain backdrop. Your overnight stay will be at a hotel in Pokhara.
In the morning, you'll drive for about 1.5 to 2 hours from Pokhara to Nayapul, the starting point of your trek. From here, begin a 4–5 hour trek along the Bhurungdi Khola, passing through local villages and terraced farmlands. The trail features a gentle ascent and offers a pleasant introduction to trekking in the Annapurna region. You’ll reach the small village of Tikhedhunga by late afternoon, where you’ll spend the night at a cozy teahouse.
Today’s trek is a bit more challenging, with a steady 5–6 hour climb up a long series of stone steps that pass through the picturesque village of Ulleri. As you gain altitude, you’ll move through dense rhododendron and oak forests, often accompanied by birdsong and glimpses of the surrounding peaks. You’ll arrive in Ghorepani by late afternoon, a charming village nestled amidst the rhododendron forests, where you’ll spend the night in a teahouse.
Wake up early for a short, one-hour hike to Poon Hill, a famous viewpoint offering breathtaking sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Watch as the first rays of light hit the snowy peaks, creating a magical moment you won’t forget. After descending back to Ghorepani for breakfast, begin a 5–6 hour trek to Tadapani. The trail winds through forests and ridge paths, offering more incredible mountain views. You’ll stay overnight in a teahouse in Tadapani.
Today, enjoy a relatively short and pleasant 3–4 hour trek descending through the forested trail to Ghandruk, one of the most beautiful Gurung villages in the region. Known for its traditional houses, warm hospitality, and panoramic views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre, Ghandruk provides a great cultural experience. After lunch, drive back to Pokhara (2–3 hours). In the evening, you may choose to attend an Aarti ceremony at Tal Barahi Temple and enjoy a peaceful stroll around Lakeside. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.
On your final day, drive back to Kathmandu (6–7 hours) or opt for a quick 40-minute flight if you prefer a shorter journey.
